Corona Pandemic – Awareness Session

PMIC arranged an awareness session on the Corona Pandemic for all its staff. The session was conducted by Ms. Zia S. Hasan, Director – NShield Solutions (First Female Director and Entrepreneur in Nano-Automotive Industry in Pakistan) – a Microbiologist, entrepreneur, health advocate, girls & women empowerment enthusiast with extensive experience in Health, Safety and Environment.

The informative session conducted by Ms. Hasan provided an overview of the Corona Virus, WHO recent updates on COVID-19 , mode of transmission among humans, incubation period and symptoms of disease progression, myths and misconceptions, hygiene and prevention (hand washing demonstration, use of sanitizers, way to cough and sneeze without spreading germs, door handles cleanliness etc), social distance, Corona control practices at the workplace, WHO traveling guidelines for frequent travelers and treatment. Moreover, the staff had an opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity on the approach to keep themselves and their families safe!
