7th Annual Microfinance Conference

Mr. Naved A. Khan, Chairman of PMIC, delivered a compelling address at the inaugural session of the 8th Annual Microfinance Conference, underscoring the urgent need for policy reforms, investment attraction, and new institutions in the microfinance sector. He urged collaboration with the government to meet Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event gathered key stakeholders, including representatives from the government, State Bank of Pakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, commercial banks and microfinance providers, all committed to enhancing financial inclusion.
