Mr. Mahfooz Ali Khan is a public sector professional with over 38 years of experience in administration, finance, accounting, auditing, governance, and academia. He has held senior leadership positions, including Secretary Finance and Accountant General, Balochistan, and played a key role in the 7th National Finance Commission Award, which significantly increased Balochistan’s share in the federal tax pool. His expertise includes public financial management, fiscal policy, audit reforms, and institutional development. He has served on several boards and statutory bodies, including the State Bank of Pakistan and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund. He also brings extensive experience in teaching and professional training at national institutions. He is currently engaged as Technical Member, 11th National Finance Commission, representing Balochistan.
