Mr. Abid Sattar is a highly accomplished banking professional with over 40 years of experience across multinational and local institutions. As President and CEO of Askari Bank, he led the organization to record growth through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and strong risk management. He represents various public and private companies on the Board as an Independent Director and is also a management consultant. He previously held senior roles at HBL, including leading international operations, and has also worked with Citibank, Standard Chartered, and Chase Manhattan. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and an MBA (Finance) Gold Medal from the University of the Punjab.
