Manager Portfolio Management

JOB SUMMARY 

The Manager will drive investments and lending in microfinance, fintech, and retail banking, focusing on co-lending and structured finance. Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage investment and lending activities in microfinance, fintech, and NBFC sectors with a focus on financial inclusion.
• Evaluate, and execute debt and structured investment opportunities with MFIs, fintechs, and retail lenders.
• Conduct credit appraisal, operational and financial due diligence, and prepare detailed investment memos for internal committees.
• Design and structure risk sharing transaction with MFIs, NBFCs and fintechs, ensuring alignment with SECP regulations and risk-sharing mechanisms.
• Possess understanding of Pakistan’s fintech ecosystem, including SBP/SECP guidelines, digital lending frameworks, and licensing structures (EMIs, NBFCs, etc.).
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, rating agencies, and internal stakeholders for successful transaction execution and post-deal monitoring.
• Track regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with SECP guidelines on lending and securitization.
• Collaborate with internal teams for financial modeling, risk analysis, and investment pipeline development.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Finance, or CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of experience in lending, transaction structuring, and corporate finance.
